PROFESSIONAL DEVELOPMENT
Many students will find life’s path after high school intimidating, whether it be entering the workforce directly after graduation or looking for a college or academy to advance their education. WorkbasED takes the best of both worlds and creates an environment with technical training and internships in order to create an active workplace experience, including in-job paying experiences.
COACHING & MENTORSHIP
Before placement, students complete virtual on-demand courses on professionalism and soft skills required to be a desirable employee. Beyond professional development, students gain access to on-the-job coaching and mentoring from professionals dedicated to their success. Beyond the workplace, the student's teacher and WBL administrator provides additional support and feedback.
THE ENTIRE EXPERIENCE
Overall, students will find the experience with workbasED to be very well put together and upfront. Complex learning structures and delegation without any physical learning is very unhelpful. However, workbasED has set up a solid process and is a great choice for students who want to have experience with the profession they want to enter into.
MONEY
Not only does workbasED wish to simulate a real world work experience, but student's contributions to workplaces are meaningful and that is why workbasED offers a paid WBL experience. However, with pay comes on-the-job expectations that also simulate the real world work experience.
